Dentistry and Dental X-Ray
Dental Cleaning/Prophy above and below the gumline, Hand and Ultrasonic scaling, Extractions, Detailed Oral Examinations under General Anesthesia, Oral Surgery, Dental Radiographs (X-Ray), Off-Site Referrals to Dental Specialists can be arranged.
Surgical Suite
Surgical procedures we perform in our surgical suite include; Ovariohysterectomy (Spay), Orchidectomy (Neuter), Orthopedic Repairs, Mass Removals, Caesarian Section and a variety of other General Surgical procedures, Off-Site Referrals for complex surgical procedures can be arranged.
Digital Full Body X-Ray
Computerized Technique Chart and Automated thickness measurement, combined with a Digital Processor, allow us to take X-Rays quickly and efficiently, hereby minimizing the need for retakes and the time your pet has to wait on the X-Ray table.
On-Site Endoscopic Procedures
Dr. Eugene Gorodetsky has been performing endoscopic procedures across BC for over 10 years on a wide variety of species, as you can see from the photograph! He travels from Vancouver by float plane and many of our patients, both large and small, have benefited from his expertise. Non invasive removal of ingested toys, bones, and other oddities, as well intestinal biopsies and nasal/bladder/airway scopings, are some of the services we are able to offer through Dr. Gorodetsky.
SonoVu Ultrasound
We do have an Ultrasound available in our practice for simple procedures but for more complex Ultrasounds we call in SonoVu Mobile Ultrasound services. They can do a variety of detailed Diagnostic Ultrasounds, which are then sent for review by a Board Certified Veterinary Radiologist and/or Cardiologist. We typically receive a detailed report in 24-48 hours. Ultrasounds are safe and non-invasive, and most patients lie there enjoying some relaxation time.
